Job Purpose
The Baggage Service Agent supports dnata’s ground operations by supervising baggage handling processes, assisting team members, and ensuring compliance with safety and aviation standards. The position is vital to ensuring that baggage is handled with care, reconciled, and loaded onto the right aircraft, thereby guaranteeing safety for passengers, crew, and aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
As a Baggage Service Agent, your role will focus on three main areas:
1. Deploy
- Coordinate with the allocated team to complete operational tasks on time.
- Manage resources to meet shift requirements efficiently.
2. Lead
- Promote and ensure workplace safety by guiding team members and setting an example.
- Supervise the daily work of a small team, ensuring compliance with dnata’s procedures and service standards.
- Ensure equipment and ground service devices are used properly and maintained.
3. Execute
- Reconcile baggage and ensure it is loaded onto the correct flight.
- Actively participate in baggage loading operations on belts and chutes.
- Operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) within the baggage area.
- Monitor baggage systems and take quick action on alerts.
- Handle baggage respectfully and efficiently to deliver service excellence.
- Escalate issues to the Team Leader or Duty Officer as required.
- Maintain accurate shift documentation and records.

Qualifications & Skills Required
