Role Overview

As a Travel Consultant, you will be a frontline team member working within a 24/7 operational environment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide consistent, high-quality travel services to clients across multiple channels, including retail counters, telephone, WhatsApp, and email. The role focuses strongly on converting enquiries into confirmed bookings while ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage of the journey.

You will handle airline ticket sales, travel-related products, and customer queries, while also supporting clients with amendments, proactive disruption management, and end-to-end travel bookings. A key objective of the role is to maximize sales opportunities through efficient, friendly, and solution-oriented customer service.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Deliver the highest standards of customer service to retail, government, and corporate clients
• Respond to all customer enquiries promptly and professionally using available systems and tools
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while maintaining brand tone and service quality
• Promote dnata-contracted products, services, and loyalty programs that meet customer travel needs
• Cross-sell and upsell relevant travel products, including tours, excursions, and ancillary services
• Provide accurate information on passport, visa, health, insurance, and check-in requirements
• Manage customer expectations during disruptions and resolve issues with a positive, solution-focused approach
• Handle all interactions with a friendly “can-do” attitude while achieving sales and service KPIs
• Adhere to customer feedback standards and internal audit requirements

Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should have experience in sales, reservations, ticketing, travel and tourism, or customer service. A successful applicant will understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer experiences and exceeding expectations.
