Role Overview
The Warehouse In-Charge role is part of the Commercial Vehicles – AFM TMHE Aftersales Division. This position is critical to ensuring accurate inventory management, smooth warehouse operations, and compliance with safety standards. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, the Warehouse In-Charge will work with a performance-driven team that prioritizes collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and manage reordering as required.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and transactions.
- Conduct routine audits, cycle counts, and ensure accountability.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts.
- Ensure safe and efficient storage to minimize damage.
- Optimize warehouse layout for better efficiency and workflow.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling and task allocation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should bring:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory control systems and warehouse operations.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Minimum Experience: 3 years in warehouse or parts operations.
Preferred Background: Automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
Additional Requirement: Knowledge of health and safety practices in warehouse environments.
