Job Overview
The Ticketing Officer will supervise and guide the ticketing team, act as a link between staff and management, and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting and exceeding revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
As a Ticketing Officer, you will manage both operational and people-related responsibilities.
Core duties include:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the Ticketing team
- Handle customer requests, fare quotes, and minimize complaints
- Support travel agents with seat confirmations and VIP bookings
- Resolve complex reservations and ticketing issues
- Guide staff on industry updates and Qatar Airways products
- Investigate complaints and recommend corrective actions
- Manage mishandled passengers, denied boarding cases, and absent records
- Monitor booking patterns and sales performance
- Conduct quarterly staff performance evaluations
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching for new joiners
- Perform additional departmental duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education & Experience
- High School Diploma with minimum 4 years of relevant experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Professional Certifications
- Recognized IATA certificate or Airline Advanced Passenger Tariff & Pricing Course
- Technical & Industry Knowledge
- Experience with Qatar Airways in-house reservation and ticketing systems (e.g., Amadeus)
- Knowledge of special fares, promotions, and offers
- Good understanding of world geography
- Proven ability to manage sales with a revenue-focused approach
