Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities
The Teller will manage daily banking transactions and support smooth branch operations, including:
- Receiving cash deposits and processing withdrawals accurately

- Issuing Demand Drafts (DDs) and Manager’s Cheques
- Handling currency exchange by following approved rates and identification procedures
- Processing internal transfers within authorized limits
- Obtaining approvals for transactions beyond assigned authority
- Supporting overall branch operations as directed
- Assisting with cross-selling or referrals for bank products and services
- Maintaining customer queue time of less than three minutes
- Processing all internal transfer requests at teller level
- Acting as Head Teller when required
- Verifying daily transactions and signing journals
- Transferring end-of-day cash to the Head Teller and reporting any shortages or excess immediately
