Role Overview

The Junior Storekeeper (Driver) plays a vital supporting role in daily warehouse supporting role in daily warehouse and distribution activities. Working closely with the Distribution Centre Storekeeper, the role focuses on receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials to various internal departments. It also involves transporting shipments to the cargo village for overseas dispatch, ensuring materials are handled efficiently, safely, and in line with company procedures.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on operational work, driving responsibilities, and working in a structured, fast-moving environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a mix of warehouse and delivery-related tasks, including:

• Delivering and collecting materials from internal user departments
• Transporting shipments to the cargo village for international dispatch
• Assisting in receiving, counting, and checking goods before stocking
• Placing materials correctly in shelves and designated stock locations
• Supporting senior storekeepers by helping prepare purchase requisitions
• Assisting with packaging and distribution of uniforms, promotional items, and non-stock materials
• Supporting dispatch activities for outstations and promotional events
• Providing clerical assistance such as filing issue and receipt vouchers
• Helping maintain cleanliness, organisation, and physical condition of store areas

Accuracy, time management, and adherence to safety standards are essential aspects of this role.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the Junior Storekeeper (Driver) position should meet the following requirements:

• Completion of 10 years of schooling or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or general distribution environment
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
• Physically fit to handle routine warehouse and delivery tasks
