Job Purpose
As a Security Agent, you will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that protect Emirates Group operations, passengers, and assets. Your duties will cover surveillance, guarding, screening, and escort tasks across both airside and landside facilities. This role is not only about protection but also about ensuring compliance with international aviation security standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Perform aviation security tasks, including access control, guarding, inspections, and surveillance of aircraft, cargo, catering products, and engineering hangars.
- Record and report suspicious activities or potential security breaches to ensure prompt action.
- Guide security personnel from third-party service providers (e.g., Transguard Patrol) in their day-to-day operations.
- Act as a fire warden during emergency situations.
- Participate in Quality Control Circle initiatives to enhance processes and improve productivity.
- Act as the first line of defence in protecting products against unlawful interference, including dangerous goods.
- Safeguard vulnerable and valuable cargo, including arms and ammunition.
- Undertake aircraft security measures such as searches, guarding, and access control.
- Conduct passenger protection activities, including LAGs (Liquids and Gels) checks, secondary boarding gate inspections, and baggage screening.
- Protect and secure lost items, ensuring their safe return to rightful owners.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be eligible for the Security Agent role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in aviation security.
- Knowledge of airline handling procedures and implementation of security measures such as access control and security search is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
