Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
In this role, you will act as the accountable person for ramp safety and aircraft handling activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Being fully accountable for the safe loading and unloading of aircraft deadload
- Acting as the main focal point for all ramp team members during operations
- Ensuring smooth coordination between teams involved in aircraft turnaround activities
- Proactively managing operational challenges to avoid delays or safety risks
- Ensuring strict adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Promoting a strong safety culture across all ramp and turnaround activities
- Identifying, reporting, and addressing hazards or irregularities immediately
- Conducting regular team briefings and maintaining clear communication at all levels
- Completing operational reports accurately and on time
- Checking all aircraft contact points for damage on arrival and departure
- Reporting any damage or irregularities to the Duty Manager without delay
