Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the Customer Sales & Service Agent role is to deliver the highest standard of customer service while actively promoting and selling Emirates products. This includes air tickets, cargo products, and integrated logistics solutions. The role is designed to enhance the overall customer experience, strengthen customer relationships, and increase company revenue through effective sales and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of customer-facing and sales-driven activities, including:
- Providing accurate information on Emirates tariff fares and issuing online tickets in compliance with airline rules and regulations
- Ensuring customers are informed about legal travel requirements such as passports, visas, health regulations, and check-in procedures
- Actively promoting value-added products and services, including Skywards membership, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings, upgraded fares, and DBB options
- Responding to customer and agent queries related to cargo import and export, from quotation through reservation and shipment tracking
- Following up on customer quotes to maximize tonnage, increase revenue, and maintain strong customer engagement
- Maintaining proper ticketing documentation, updating timetables, and ensuring sales and promotional materials are displayed effectively
- Supporting the Customer Sales & Service Team Leader with end-of-day sales closure and banking activities
- Building and maintaining a database of potential customers and developing long-term professional relationships
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of schooling or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and customer service skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced sales and contact center environment
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
- Knowledge of airline industry procedures, contact center operations, and reservations systems
- Familiarity with Standard Fares and Ticketing, Skywards, and MARS systems
- Ability to read, write, and speak Arabic is an added advantage
