Role Overview
The Emirates Official Store Supervisor will support the Merchandise Support Controllers and Manager Merchandise by supervising operations across all Emirates Official Store outlets. These include locations at EGHQ, EGIT, dnata Travel Centre, Dubai International Airport (DXB), and The Dubai Mall. The role involves leading sales experts, driving financial performance, and ensuring that all stores consistently reflect Emirates’ high brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Operations Management
- Supervise day-to-day operations across UAE store locations.
- Maintain CCMB branding standards in line with the Visual Style Guide (VSG).
- Ensure financial targets are achieved across all outlets.
- Conduct monthly store visits and regular store walks to monitor performance.
Inventory & Logistics
- Oversee inventory management and ensure SOPs are followed at each store.
- Organize annual stock-takes and unscheduled stock checks when required.
- Coordinate deliveries with EK Stores and relevant business partners.
Planning & Reporting
- Create and maintain a rolling marketing calendar with the team.
- Prepare weekly or monthly reports for the Manager Merchandise.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of store sales experts.
- Prepare monthly rosters based on operational needs.
- Drive high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Additional Responsibilities
Emirates Official Store
- Manage visual merchandising updates across all stores.
- Ensure POS system compliance and support system enhancements.
- Oversee setup and operations of remote stores at major aviation events, including the Dubai Airshow and Arabian Travel Market.
Dubai Duty Free (DDF)
- Present product ideas to DDF purchasing teams.
- Fulfil and deliver DDF orders and manage invoicing.
The Dubai Mall – Flight Simulator Zone
- Monitor daily bookings via the Digitickets guest booking system.
- Respond to customer emails and assist with scheduling.
- Support analytics and marketing insights through Google Analytics.
- Ensure accurate invoicing with Emaar Entertainment.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Experience in a sales or retail environment is essential.
- Leadership experience and familiarity with visual merchandising is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
